Mead Production Associate

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Mead Production Associate based in Greater Lagro, Fairview, Quezon City. As a Mead Production Associate, you will be responsible for assisting with fermentation, washing, sanitation, packaging, production lines, equipment maintenance, and machine operation. You will also be involved in quality control to ensure product excellence. Your ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances will be crucial in this role.

The ideal candidate will be used to hard work and have the following responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and sanitizing meadery equipment (tanks, pumps, hoses, packaging equipment)
  • Filtering setup
  • Ingredient processing
  • Packaging
  • Assisting head meadmaker in all tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • Production Assistance, Production Lines, and Machine Operation skills
  • Quality Control experience
  • Easily Adaptable
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Physical stamina for long periods of standing and lifting
  • Prior experience in the alcohol and beverage industry is a plus
  • Chemistry or laboratory experience is an advantage

Physical and mental requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time, walk, talk, hear, use hands to finger, grasp, handle or feel, push, pull, reach, crouch, kneel, crawl, or bend
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions of the hands and/or wrists.
  • Ability to exert up to lift boxes and fermentation tanks with minimal assistance
  • High mental and visual attention required for planning difficult work methods and sequences to obtain size, shape, or physical qualities of product.
  • Can provide extremely close visual attention or observation
